CROATIAN ARCHITECTS' ASSOCIATION 

The Croatian Architects' Association is a national organisation with the purpose of coordinating the professional interests of architects in the Republic of Croatia and establishing relations with other national and international professional organisations. The basis for the social architectural professional structure is work through regional, county and municipal associations of architects. The Association is a professional union of regional, county and municipal associations of architects. It was established in 1950.

The strategic cultural goals of the Croatian Architects' Association and its publishing activities are the valorisation of architecture, urbanism and pertaining disciplines, as well as of essential factors of social reality. These goals are reached through the print media and the organisation of symposia, lectures, exhibitions, roundtable discussions and the research of other methods of promotion and possibilities of mediation of architecture and urbanism, such as the project of the internet archives (a virtual encyclopaedia in the making) of Croatian architectural theory and practice. 

Besides the primary goal to comply with the highest professional standards, the intention of the Croatian Architects' Association is to reach the public, in order to contribute to the raising of general culture of the Croatian area, and to promote the achievements of Croatian architecture on the global scene.

The Croatian Architects' Association strives towards becoming aware of and responding to the interests of all generations, attempting to reach them through the education of the youngest age groups, to promote young authors and new discourses, approve the already established valued practice, and, finally, evaluate and present masterpieces from the history of Croatian architecture with an emphasis on modernity. 

ASSOCIATION OF BELGRADE ARCHITECTS 

The Association of Belgrade Architects is a professional association founded in 1946 with the purpose of coordinating competitions and other events related to architects in Belgrade and that is committed to protection and affirmation of fundamental values, interests and position of architecture. Since 2006 it is one of the organizers of Belgrade International Architecture Week (BINA). The goals of ABA are affirmation, advancement and protection of architecture as a profession and its status in the professional and cultural fields in Serbia. 

COALITION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT –CSD

COALITION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT –CSD, is a Macedonian non-governmental, non-profit and non-political association of citizens. Officially registered on 2nd August, 2007, CSD is fairly young, but in a same time well established organisation. It was founded in compliance with the principle that associations are based on the concept of “groups”. But the group is consisted of individuals. Therefore, the capacity of the group is closely connected with the commitment and capacity of its members. Our membership is composed of results-oriented people, hands-on professional, with a successful record of accomplishments in organisation, management and implementation of a number of projects supported by international donor agencies. 

INSA, Institute for Contemporary Architecture
INSA, Institute for Contemporary Architecture, has been established in 2005. and registered as private institute in 2008. The founder is Academia Moderna, NGO.
The target group of INSA activites emerges from a project initiated within Academia Moderna in 1999. a huge mulymedia exibition CROATIAN MODERN ARCHITECTURE OF 20. CENTURY planned for spring 2012. 
Other group of INSA activities are small exibitions, researches and workshops criticaly dealing with present state of Croatian architecture.

TRAJEKT, INSTITUTE FOR SPATIAL CULTURE
TrajekT, Institute for Spatial Culture has been established and registered as private institute in 2002. The founders of TrajekT are 6 Slovenian architects who considered that circulation of knowledge and information concerning built environment is not satisfactory in Slovenia. Since then TrajekT works as non profit non governmental organisation on the field of spatial planning, architecture and urban affairs.

UMETNOSTNA GALERIJA MARIBOR / MARIBOR ART GALLERY

UGM is second biggest museum of modern art in Slovenia with collection of over 3000 art works of Slovene modern and contemporary art ranging from beginning of 20th century until today including painting, sculpture, works on paper and photography as well as video art, installations and interactive art works. 

Gallery is situated in a historical building in city’s centre with the exhibition spaces exceeding 1000 m2. UGM presents over 15 exhibitions per year, focusing mainly on international and national visual artists, retrospective shows and thematic exhibitions, however introducing several exhibition annually addressing modern and contemporary design, architecture and urban planning in Slovenia and abroad.

UGM has continuously included architectural exhibitions and lectures in its programme, however in the past few years we recognized that architecture, urban planning and development has become a topic of great importance in the city and that city developed a new audience for it. Economic recovery, investment boom and newly established Department for Architecture and Urban Planning at University of Maribor all contributed to greater awareness and interest for architecture. UGM decided to grab the opportunity and get involved with the topic extensively including organizing national international architectural exhibitions, panels, public discussions, guided tours, lecturec etc.
